Forrest Fire and Rescue Smart Drone Charging Pod
We have designed a tree or pole mounted device consisting of satellite internet, solar panels and wind generators, capturing renewable energy into a battery, for the purpose of creating a GPS navigation system taking advantage of spatial web protocols and permissions for drone navigation, charging, and storage.
Our Smart Drone Charging Pod will allow for the creation of a permission based tollable drone highway with charge stations across water, land, air, wilderness and sea. As well as providing wifi access to passing vehicles, recreationalists, sailors in distress, pedestrians, drones and other autonomous or internet of things objects.
Campers and boaters can use the unit for emergency or paid access, further a hard drive can be added to allow transmissions of park data, maps, and even augmented reality scenes, audio files or video for educational purposes, bringing history to life. A ground access phone can be added for camp use.
Imagine stopping at a pole in an area with no internet or phone service, a drone system on top of the pole, visible, conveniently located along trails and at areas frequently visited with little service. Parks could charge additional funds for use of these devices internet services, as well as provide emergency access to communication for park patrons and employees.
Our invention is a renewable energy based (wind or solar power) autonomous device that connects to the internet via satellite then broadcasts wifi signals for the transit of drones both autonomous and human operator controlled drones. It also uses recycled plastics and materials whenever possible.
A battery is located in the base of the unit as a counter weight and charging device.
Our unit can be used to plant seeds from the air as well as monitor forests to prove and award carbon credits. Systems can be stocked with seeds that are then distributed and “dropped” for reforestation and carbon projects. This planting is low labow, hits areas that are hard to get to, and removes the need for carbon costly human labor.
Additionally this device will be capable of containing weather monitoring devices and surveillance or search and rescue equipment as customized by the client.
The dome camera is capable of taking a snapshot when object movement is detected on the horizon and notifying observers in other locations via the satellite uplink allowing drone investigation remotely.
The dome camera is capable of taking a snapshot and will be capable of detecting lightning strikes, smoke, and fire sources, which will alert operators to send the drone to investigate. This can coordinate with larger drone systems to put fires out quickly before they get big saving billions of dollars and keeping carbon sequestered in the ground.
Our Smart Drone Charging Pod allows for the creation of a Wifi/GPS navigation highway and charge stations for water and air based drones. Further our product is made from renewable materials when possible, using primarily hydrophobic carbon from renewable sources combined with polymers.
Unique uses for the Forest Fire and Rescue Smart Drone Charging Pod:
Our system can be used to create a highway of wifi that drones can navigate without the need for energy intensive satellite internet on each drone unit. This allows for inexpensive “disposable drones” to perform complex tasks and upload information remotely. Taking advantage of cloud computing and remote inputs for control and navigation drones will have direct input from operators allowing them to send these drones to investigate, interact with or film locations.
Our system is designed to generate energy from renewable sources with the intent of storing that energy in a battery to run the Forest Fire and Rescue Smart Drone Charging Pod systems as well as charge drones. Systems currently are optimized for drone solar power, or drone wind power.
Our system allows for the monitoring of carbon credits and validation as well as planting of trees and other plants via seeds compacted with nutrients dropped from the air and reloaded by forestry management employees or drone delivery.
We install custom image recognition software and cameras for search and rescue or tracking phenomena like weather, wild life, fire, or waste.
One of our additional functions allows countries and municipalities to “toll” use of the designated spatial web drone highways as well as mooring and charging.
In the instance of a lost hiker or need for search and rescue the drones can turn on lights and fly into the sky to give navigation points to lost individuals to reach these stations and communicate.
